Hi, I’m Alan Johnsrud — a lifelong amusement park enthusiast, content creator, and former Operations Manager with Cedar Fair (now Six Flags Entertainment Company). For more than 20 years, I’ve been fascinated by the artistry, engineering, and operations that bring amusement parks to life. My time in park management gave me a deep appreciation for what it takes to create seamless guest experiences and the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps every ride and show running safely and efficiently.

Alongside my passion for the amusement industry, I’ve built a strong career in Information Technology, including time working with Apple. That experience not only strengthened my technical expertise but also fueled my creativity — giving me the tools to produce professional, cinematic content using Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, and even the iPhone itself.

Today, I combine my background in park operations and technology to share insightful, authentic, and visually engaging stories about theme parks. Whether it’s exploring attraction history, analyzing operations, or capturing the details that make each park unique, my goal is to bring you a deeper look into the world of amusement parks through both an expert’s eye and an enthusiast’s heart.
